Pastor Rosie M. Williams was born on November 21, 1951 in the state of Pennsylvania. She was the seventh of 12 children born to Lawrence and Eula McDonald of Fayetteville, North Carolina. She grew up in the city of Chester, Pennsylvania and was educated in the Chester Upland School District.
After her schooling, she pursued a career in Nursing and served the Elderly community for many years. More recently, prior to becoming full time in the ministry, Pastor Williams switched to the specialty of Mental Health and worked with at risk adolescents.
Pastor Williams has been married to Deacon Herbert Williams. Sr, for nearly 36 years. His support of her ministry is apparent in the love and special care he portrays for the edifice and saints of Brighter Day. They have four children: Kim Roberts, Robin Dudley, Chevette Pleasant and Herbert Williams, Jr. She is blessed to have seven adorable grandchildren, several God-children and those she has adopted as her own. The Lord has blessed her to have her children work by her side in ministry.
Pastor Williams has the heart of a servant but is known for her spiritual bluntness. Her motto is “If you don’t like the apples on my tree then don’t shake my tree- for I am in Jesus and Jesus is in me.”
