Bishop Davis is a native of Marion County, South Carolina and the ninth child of twelve children born to the late John and Ivory Nichols Davis. He is married to the former Iolar Burch, and they have six children. Bishop Davis is noted for his dynamic Bible teaching and analysis. Bishop Davis has made great strides in the ministry, other enterprises, and businesses and managed many properties. He has successfully engineered and built fourteen churches from the ground and has organized other churches in several of the principal cities of the United States and Jamaica, West Indies of the Caribbean Islands.

He has successfully attained one radio station (WJAY 1280AM) located in Marion/Mullins, South Carolina. He is the proprietor of: Davis Funeral Service – 301 West Liberty Street – Marion, SC and The City Beauty Shop – 202 West Liberty Street – Marion, SC. An honorary residential subdivision consisting of several hundred acres of residential and commercial properties has been named in his honor. The Daviston Subdivision is located on Highway 378 in Marion County, South Carolina.

Bishop Davis’s hobbies are hunting, clean humor, and Bible discussions. Bishop R. F. Davis is a good person to know.
