Pastor's Biography

Eula Mae Weaver Bolden, the firstborn of the late Thomas and Beulah Weaver (Ryans), was born on December 16, 1937 in Marion County South Carolina.  She was a dear and obedient child, an excellent student in school in behavior and grades.  She was a “spelling bee”.

Eula is a nice person; she easily makes friends, which makes her easy to get along with.  She is always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need if she can. Her motto is:  If I can help somebody, then my living shall not be in vain.

In 1956 she was blessed to have met and married Joshua Bolden, to this union was born one son Joshuray Jr.  She is a devoted and committed wife and a loving mother.
At age 16, she accepted Christ as her personal savior by repenting, and being baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and receiving the Holy Ghost under the leadership of Bishop. R. F. Davis.

Later years she and her husband moved to Camden, N.J. and joined the St. John Holiness Church under the leadership of Bishop Carlyle Tarte.  They both served faithfully until her husband heard the call of God to go out and start a work for the Lord.
They started and established the Highway Church of Christ in Woodbury, N.J. where they worked prayerfully and untiring for the benefit of saving souls.  In 1983, God saw fit to place her in the pastoral position.  On June 5, 1983, she was installed Pastor of the Highway Church of Christ, Woodbury, N.J. and has been serving faithfully and diligently since that time.

Through her zeal and Godly vision; with God’s help and the help and support of her husband and the Saints, she has been blessed to open up a second church in Camden, N.J. where souls are coming in and being blessed by the preaching and teaching of the Word from Pastor Bolden.  She is known for her dynamic teaching of the Word and also her Godly lifestyle.

She attended the Camden Bible Institute where she completed a three year course.  She also completed a course in Family Counseling and a course in Business English.  She is the founder of Defining Word Ministry on WTMR 800 on your radio dial, also worldwide on the internet at www.wtmrradio.com every Thursday night from 6:30-6:45 pm.
