In 1964, Elder and Sister Bolden moved from Albany, NY to Camden, NJ.  They joined St. John Church under the leadership of Elder Carlyle Tarte.  Because of his faithfulness, Elder Tarte appointed him as his assistant pastor. He served in that position for 5 years. 

In 1970 God saw fit to move Elder Bolden a little higher and he and his wife started a work in Woodbury, NJ.  They started out by faith, with 5 members and a dilapidated church building which has gone through drastic changes.  Since then, God has really blessed. We have added on to the building twice. The congregation has grown, although some left, we are still holding on.  We’ve come this far by faith.  Having attained help of God, we continue unto this day. 

Persecution has not crushed the church, evil spirits have not overtaken the church, neither has time abated the church and the Pastor’s force.  The gates of hell didn’t prevail against it, the abuse of the enemy has not shaken the church’s stability; for the church is founded upon the Rock and that Rock is Jesus. Pray for our continued success.
